Leaders hold classes in a variety of locations, including their own faith based organization, adult education schools, libraries, community centers, and other non-profit organizations. Some of the workshops we have available require training, and some can be led with little preparation.

To get started, we recommend any of the following:
  • Join us for a Marriage Educators' Breakfast on the first
           Tuesday of each month at 8:30am at Coco's, 1823 
           Arden Way, Sacramento

MML Leader Training

After attending this 16 hour training, you will become qualified to lead the Mastering the Mysteries of Love (MML) program. The MML program teaches couples ten skills that enable them to uncover and communicate their deepest feelings, concerns and desires and create win-win solutions to even the most difficult problems. Instruction is given in role-play, skills training, and coaching format.
Please note: This leader training is available exclusively for those who have previously completed the Mastering the Mysteries of Love (MML) program.

Bringing Baby Home (BBH Leader Training #329) 

Description: Become a Certified Bringing Baby Home Instructor! The program, based on the work of internationally recognized researcher, John Gottman, teaches couples how to make the transition from being a couple to becoming a family. Participants in the program experienced a lower incidence of postpartum depression, greater father involvement, and lower incidence of asthma on part of the infant than research study controls. For more information about the curriculum, visit Bringing Baby Home Online at: www.bringingbabyhomeonline.org. Continuing Education Units available- additional fee applies.

Prerequisit: None

Cost: $495
