Workshop leaders hold classes in a variety of locations, including their own faith based organization, adult education schools, libraries, community centers, and other non-profit organizations. Some of the workshops we have available require training, and some can be led with little preparation.

Clarissa's Story

When she found her chosen field of real estate going through dramatic changes Clarissa began to focus on her own personal life. Among her goals was to strengthen her recent marriage to a young sports writer who she had married a few years earlier. She found out about a marriage education class and since it was for couples, succeeded in talking her partner into attending with her. After completing the two weekend event, the one major issue that affected their relationship had been resolved! Clarissa’s assessment of the 22 hours they invested? “It saved our marriage” is what she tells those who ask.

So moved is she by the impact of this experience on her life, and a growing awareness that society around her desperately needs to acquire the same relationship skills, she has redirected her energies into a lifetime that is driven by purpose to this end.

Recently she approached the principal of an adult education school in her community and convinced him to add a couple of relationship education classes to the schedule in which the only marriage-related curriculum offered was: “How to Do your Own Divorce”. After clearing a few hurdles, she got herself certified as an adult education teacher and now offers three different classes at the school. Among them-- Pick-a-Partner, Mastering the Mysteries of Love and Bringing Baby Home.

Clarissa offers to the rest of us a poignant example of the famous adage: “When the going get tough, the tough get going”. Today, instead of just leading people through the process of buying a house, she is leading couples through the process of creating a home.
